SCP: Ascension is our frontrunning project in a new survival-horror world within the lore of the SCP Foundation. It will be a new experience from previous titles in the genre, where we aim for nothing but the best within our capability. There will be several gamemodes, such as Blackout, which will be based in Area 14 during a dangerous containment breach. You either play as personnel sheltering in place, or being the security and associated task forces that get the site personnel to the evacuation points.
We have several gamemodes planned for full release:
Blackout - Survive the facility in a dangerous containment breach.
Infiltration - Infiltrate the enemy team through stealth or brute force.
Sandbox - Create your own world within Ascension, with modding capabilities, factions, and an in-game level designer.
Containment - Contain an anomalous threat from harming civilization and/or the team you are a part of.
Recon - Explore anomalous locations and/or tracking/dealing with undocumented anomalies.
Our Campaign is based on the wiki's Project Resurrection, which follows the fate of MTF Omega-7 "Pandora's Box", and the birth of MTF Alpha-9 "Last Hope".
In the struggle to keep the universe as we know it intact, the SCP Foundation is faced with two options: Fix the damage that has been done that will forever continue, or give itself the opportunity to get ahead of the ever-lasting challenge to keep it from getting worse. This is where Project Ascension is born...
